Terms and Conditions of Entry

1. The Promoter

The promoter is TaiKai Con which will only ever contact via our email admin@taikaiconau.com.

2. Competition Period

  • The competition opens on Sunday 27th September 2026.

  • The competition closes on Friday 27th November 2027, 11.59pm.

  • Any entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility

  • Entry is free and open to all ages and skill levels.

  • If the entrant is under 18 years old, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required to enter.

  • Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. [1, 2]

4. How to Enter

  • To enter, participants must:

    1. Create an original drawing based on the theme: Drawing of Flappy.

    2. Complete the official entry form.

    3. Post online and tag TaiKai con Instagram. If unable to post, give permission for the work to be posted on the official instagram. [1, 2]

  • Limit of 2 entries per person. [1]

5. Artwork Requirements

  • All artwork must be 100% original work created entirely by the entrant. AI will not be accepted in any form.

  • Entries may use any medium from digital art, hand drawn, animation, plush, ect. No copyrighted characters or third-party intellectual property are allowed.

  • Entries must not feature offensive, violent, or non-PG rated content. [1, 2, 3]

6. Judging and Prizes

  • Judging will take place and be announced by 6th December 2026.

  • The winner will receive $300 Australian.

  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and will be sent via transfer.

  • The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. [1, 2]

7. Winner Notification

  • The winner will be notified via email .

  • If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner. [1]

8. Intellectual Property and Copyright

  • The entrant retains ownership of the copyright in their artwork. However, by entering, the entrant (and their guardian) grants the Promoter a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display the artwork for promotional, marketing, and exhibition purposes without compensation. 9. Privacy

  • Personal information collected from entrants will be used by the Promoter solely for the administration of this competition and in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this competition or accepting any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. [1]
